Johan Dahl is a pop singer from Uppsala Sweden. He is well known for his unique style and performances that make you feel like you are right there with him, experiencing the things he sings about.
He is internationally known, especially in Italy, where he has performed at festivals and Sweden, where he can be found performing regularly in the local music scene.

He formed a duet group with jazzbassist Rickard Malmsten, and performs regularly on the Swedish jazz scene.

Johan has a lot of other music out, both in English and in Swedish, this song is in English, but certainly be on the lookout for Swedish songs as well, especially Lillybell, which made him a finalist at the San Remo senior in 2024.

The song is very well produced, with the accordion lending a very whimsical and fun feel to this song. The song is about his childhood, and going by old places and recognizing them and thinking about that, so it's very nostalgic. The song itself feels very lighthearted and fun so it gives me the impression that these are very fond memories.

I can see the things that he is singing about as I listen to this song, I saw the red buildings and the trees, and it felt like I was actually driving in the car with him.

If I were to compare it to another artist, I'm not sure that I could because this is so unique on its own, it really does have its own original sound.

Overall, I really enjoy these types of songs, because I like reflecting back on fun childhood things and memories, and I like being taken on that journey with somebody else as well. This song flows really well, it's very upbeat, and I would honestly recommend this to anybody young or old to listen to, I'm sure we all have memories that we wish to look back on and think about.
